Thank you Gordon Ramsey …
Watching a re-run of “Kitchen Nightmares” I realised that photography is like dining … loads of restaurants in every town … dozens of chefs of widely varying standards and ability and yet they all start with the virtually the same equipment and ingredients. So it is with photographers ….
The only difference between a “Michelin Star” fine dining experience and a potential nightmare boils down to the operator. Ultimately it is the creativity, vision, experience, training, skill and talent of the guy driving the stove, their pride in the “work” and presentation to create an amazing gastronomic experience (or not having any of that to produce a nightmare).
Even the marketing is similar, the fine dining experience relying heavily on reputation and word-of-mouth.
So when choosing a wedding photographer, check out the restrooms.
