Steve and Liz - St.Basil’s and Llansantffraed Court Hotel
Probably one of the most photogenic wedding locations in Monmouthshire Llansantffraed Court Hotel was the setting for Steve and Liz’s wedding reception after their wedding ceremony at St. Basil’s, Basseleg.
We were dodging the rain showers in the morning and had a veritable cloud burst after taking a few family formals outside the church and went inside for the remainder.
St. Basil’s is a “no photography during the service” church but with a bit of negotiation at the rehearsal the vicar kindly let me take what I needed and a couple of re-enactments afterwards held the story together …. on the way to the hotel the skies cleared and we had marvellous weather for the reception.
A BIG thanks to one of the car drivers from Rumney Wedding Cars who spotted our camera bag in the rain at the church, ran up with a brolly and whipped it inside the church, it is an absolute pleasure to meet other wedding suppliers who are professional and considerate.
