Quality … not quantity

Our mission is simple … the ultimate in service and to provide our couples with a stunning album that allows the bride and groom to re-experience the emotions of the day whenever the album is looked at.

A combination of sophisticated, elegant, (styled but *not* posed) romantic photographs (with beautiful natural lighting) combined with details and “observed” moments that blend via cohesive design into a powerful, emotional story … in fact, putting art into wedding photography.
Photos with feelings
It’s not so much what is “in” the picture as the feelings that are “behind it”, every picture should evoke an emotional response and that is what differentiates talented photographers from “camera operators”.

The images should be appreciated by the heart, as well as the mind creating an intimate, powerful connection …

Poor photography can’t be “fixed” in photoshop either as it doesn’t let you put feelings into pictures … they have to be felt and captured “in-camera”.

(In fact a top-flight documentary photographer friend of mine has a couple of appropriate quotes “Photoshop allows poor photographers to make even worse pictures” and another of his favourites is “there are only two controls that matter on a camera, where you stand and when you press the button”)

More than that … it’s about how the pictures fit together as well … the gifted photographer, using proper design, can produce a compelling narrative in images.

There is a humungous difference between that as a concept and stringing together some (hopefully) nice pictures from a wedding into an album.

My advice before commissioning a photographer is to look carefully at the work and finished product before asking “how many pictures do I get on a CD?”
