Knowle and Forest of Arden Hotel - Beverley and Andrew - Sept 22

Beverley and Andy had a great day, the Solihull area is not one of our regular stomping grounds but John and Wendy (Clearwell 10th Sept 2006) recommended us to Beverley and we were delighted to cover the wedding. We drove up Friday night for the rehearsal and started work at 8am on the Saturday morning with Fran going off to the hairdressers with the girls, the brides brother, Robert, kindly picked me up and off we went to the boy’s at the Marriott Forest of Arden Hotel. The day seem to unfold according to plan until a slight navigational error had Andy’s Mum and Dad speeding up the M42 the wrong way on the way to church and Beverley arrived early. There was talk of a SatNav appearing in someone’s Christmas stocking! An interesting selection of pictures for the blog … the casino table with all the girls enjoying themselves seemed to sum up the fun of the day. The little lad in the aisle is one of the definite benefits of two qualified photographers, I’m shooting the serious stuff at the front and Fran just spotted this and captured a charming moment. The last picture is of the Beauford wedding car …. we have a Morgan ourselves so I’m a sucker for handbuilt 30’s look british cars, especially ones with wings and a burbelling v8 under a row coachbuilt louvres!
We stayed over Saturday night and had a gentle ride down on Sunday morning with a stop off at Wendy and John’s to wish them a happy anniversary and give Binky (their dog) a hug, followed by a meeting in Cheltenham for a pre-wedding shoot, a rendezvous with our framer at Ross on Wye and then home to Tintern.
Life is never dull as a wedding photographer!
