Another fabulous winter wedding day. Congratulations David and Susan! I think it’s great that couples can find love a second time around and then have their family so closely involved in a very intimate wedding … David’s son was best man and Susan’s two daughters bridesmaids … how cool is that! And what a privilege for us to be invited to provide the wedding photography coverage … Susan found us in “Getting Married” magazine and loved the natural elegant style of our wedding photography. So skeptical me, who thinks that all advertising is a waste of money was proved wrong (again!)
Egerton Grey is a beautiful country house hotel close by Cardiff Airport overlooking Porthkerry bay, which is a bit of a “find”. Immediately you walk through the door your hosts make you feel so very welcome and nothing is too much trouble.
From the get go Richard, Huw and the team are committed to making your day special and one to remember, our personal thanks too, for looking after us and providing us with some welcome hospitality making sure that we were fed and watered in addition to the guests. That is attention to detail!
And that close attention to detail ensured that David and Susan had the perfect day. 
Whilst on the subject of personal thanks, we must make mention of the two wonderful lady registrars who also went out of their way to ensure that we got some beautiful shots of the couple during the ceremony … unfortunately that is the exception rather than the rule. I’m not sure why more registrars aren’t this accommodating, because it lets us produce emotional, natural pictures that the couple will always treasure.
After a fabulous meal and a few more pictures the guests had an “007″ surprise with a Bond themed casino evening with roulette and black-jack tables, making for a few good picture opportunities.
