Clearwell Castle - Dave and Kat - 21st October 2007

A crisp autumn day with beautiful light.
Just what the doctor ordered and with Guy Fawkes just around the corner who could resist putting up a lovely fire-work shot. Experienced pros will tell you just how difficult it is to shoot pyrotechnics …
The Castle shot at night is always atmospheric, but with the moon just showing through some mist and backlighting some branches, our own spot light and the castle lights, all nicely balanced exposure-wise produces a shot that Dave and Kat will treasure for a life-time, another candidate for a big canvas. The third picture just has a lovely feeling and captures the joy and emotion of the wedding day. A quick look at the wedding highlights will show what a fabulous autumn day it was, many shots using the light, the carpet of brown leaves and one or two co-operative ducks for beatiful, elegant and romantic portraits. I don’t know why but not many photographers seem to use the lake area at the back of the castle ….
