Charlotte and Brendan … Pre-wedding shoot
Here are a few of our faves from Charlotte and Brendan’s pre-wedding shoot, starting at Exeter Cathedral and then a trip to the sea-front and beach at Sidmouth where they got engaged. Their wedding is later on in the year at St. Briavels, Gloucestershire.
We had tremendous fun and a great laugh on the sea-front, passers-by were probably wondering who our “celebrities” were and which magazine we were shooting for!
These were taken in the early evening light helped by a portable battery powered tungsten halogen light that gives the dramatic “spotlight” look and a certain “sparkle”. We have two of these lights and they are an essential part of our wedding photography kit … they are used on virtually every wedding in the evening to get our “signature” sundown and first-dance images.
It was an hour or so before the light completely went and then the four of us managed to find an Indian restaurant that was open amid a deserted Sidmouth for a rather splendid curry before jumping on the M5 to get back home to Tintern at 11.30pm.
