Cardiff International Arena Wedding Fayre - 24th February 2008
Welcome aboard to our latest brides who signed up at the show. The spring show is always quite busy and this one somehow seemed busier than usual. Our daughter Sheryl (an award winning baby and child photographer) Sheryl’s Website lent a hand to deal with the queues that seemed to form throughout the day.
Our thanks to Hannah and Mark (2nd November 2007) who looked fabulous on the two banners we had on the stand illustrating the traditional and story book coverage …. both of which attracted lots of positive comments.
There were a couple of dates that we could have booked five times over … it is clear to us that there are more brides looking for hi-end photographers than there is availability. We have regrettably disappointed at least three couples this year who have taken a day or two to make a decision and found the date gone from under them (and it’s only February!). If we didn’t have a ‘first-past-the-post’ system we would exist in chaos trying to get hold of people … your date is secure ONLY when we have accepted your booking fee.
A very successful show, but after a busy wedding at Egerton Grey on Saturday and standing virtually all day Sunday at the show Fran and I were really glad to get back and put our feet up.
