St. Briavels - Charlotte and Brendan - 18th August 2007

Well I guess it had to happen, rain, rain and more rain: In fact it didn’t stop all day and evening …. but nothing was going to dampen Brendan and Charlotte’s special day.
Charlotte sings … and over 20 of her choir colleagues travelled up to St. Briavels from Devon to fill the church with a glorious sound.
In fact all of their friends and family pushed the boat out (almost literally too!) to make it a day to remember.
Patricia, the vicar, coped admirably with all the curved balls thown at her and was wonderfully accommodating … all the family formals had to be done inside the church and we were under cover or umbrellas all day.
Thanks to the YHA at St. Briavels Castle, Barry (Dad’s neighbour) who provided a stone barn and a surprise bottle of Moet (enjoyed by all!), David for the vintage tractor and to who all assisted with locations and props for our photographic endeavours …
The couple are off to New York after helping Mum and Dad and an army of friends in tidying up the aftermath of a fantastic day.
