The Manor Hotel - Mike and Llinos

We were up early with the birds today and on the road at 7.30am.

A 2 hour journey led us to Llandovery where Llinos, our bride was getting ready at the family’s farm. Fran dropped Bob off on the way in Crickhowell at The Manor Hotel with the boys (who were still eating breakfast!).

The area dean who was conducting the ceremony has a strict “no photographs during the ceremony” policy but video coverage was being provided by Simon O’Gorman and his assistant, John. Nice guys, I’m sure they’ve got lovely footage and I hope that we can look forward to working with them again … they complemented the stills perfectly. Thanks guys for being thoroughly pro, co-operative and unobtrusive.

A quick stop off after the ceremony on the way to the the farm enabled us to meet Grandad and take a picture of him and the happy couple and I know this will have meant a great deal to him and the family and a privilege for us too!

At the farm we took a few pictures and then on to the reception. Keith, who was driving the bridal car seemed to know exactly where to park the car at each of the locations … experience always tells!

Llinos and Mike had a very elegant and free-style wedding, even their dog Sophie made it to the reception.

Little touches thoughout the day reflected on Llinos’s precise eye for detail.

For their first dance we were treated to a fully choreographed version of Dirty Dancing … well done guys. A big thank you to both sides of the family and many of their friends for making us feel so welcome and at home.

We travelled home completely exhuasted but with a feeling of pleasure that we have been at another fab wedding (as can be seen in the “brief taster” collage of pictures below).
