St. Andrews Hambleton, Scalford Hall, Rutland - Alastair and Sarah
We travelled up to Oakham in Rutland on Friday to meet all the family at the church rehearsal for the wedding of Sarah and Alastair, both very hard working medics and Sarah had only just come off her night shift!! After an overnight stay at the venue Scalford Hall, Nr Melton Mowbray and a good hearty breakfast , we were set for the day.
St. Andrew’s in Hambleton set in the centre of Rutland Water is beautiful village church with the most wonderful, friendly, vicar … we were given almost carte blanche on where we needed to take the pictures but as ever respect the need to be unobtrusive and professional. (I wish all ministers were as accommodating!) Thank you Jay.
Sarah looked fantastic in her Caroline Castigliano wedding gown.
A little chilly … but fortunately a mostly dry day and time for photographs outside the church, followed by a reception at Scalford Hall with log fires and a very warm welcome.
Thank you to Sarah and Alastair for your hospitality and have a great honeymoon, you both deserve it.
A personal note to Sarah from Fran…..forget work for a few days please!!!!!! and enjoy.
