Maunsel House - Jonny and Carrie
Today we had the pleasure of a lovely ceremony in the garden at Maunsel House celebrating the wedding of Jonny and Carrie.
Glorious weather, but perhaps a little cold and windy for Carrie’s family who had all flown in from Texas though!
Carrie and Jon have a gorgeous little boy called Hudson (6 months) and he looked adorable in his tux completely stealing the hearts of everyone.
The celebration was full of emotion and good humour, friends taking the major roles and some beautiful singing too!
Photographs for Carrie were a very important of the day and we had arranged that after the main course had been served and before pudding we would hijack them for 20mins to catch the best light for photography as the sun slowly sank over the horizon.
The grounds surrounding Maunsel House are beautiful and Carrie, hailing from Texas had chosen a “yellow rose” theme. Well the buttercups blended in with the colour scheme perfectly! As you can see from the images in the “sneaky peek” we had lots of fun.
Back to the guests to a roaring cheer and some explaining to be done by Jon over the grass and leaves on Carrie’s dress!!!!
Speeches were a delight to listen too and we had to remember to take photos too as we were laughing that much. Later in the evening we photographed an unusual “grand march” entrance to the first dance.
We would like to thank you both for what can only be descibed as a most unique and fun time … we love you guys loads and Hudson too.
