Maunsel House - Duncan and Betina

Maunsel House when we arrived was a bustle of services coming and going, flowers, cakes, a big red bus, a polished Bentley, groomsmen rushing around doing the jobs given to them and plenty of laughter coming from all directions. Our bride, Betina, awaited Frans arrival sitting calmly in The Kings Room, whilst Rob met up with the boys.

Betina’s Ian Stuart dress looked stunning … but then out came the shoes … a pair of sparkly Christian Louboutin, to finish the look off. Lots of shoe envy ensued, Pippa get your hands off!!!

The brides arrival at the church was met with the whole choir lined up outside and Betina with her family made a grand entrance. Duncan was in awe!

THe majority of the guests were driven back after the ceremony by a red routemaster double decker bus and awaiting for them was an Ice cream cart, mobile cocktail bar and a swing band playing Summertime followed by other favourite standards from the 40’s, a perfect way to spend a lazy (almost summer) afternoon.

Every detail and effort had been carefully crafted into this wedding today and guests were truely entertained.

As photographers it is our privilege to be able to edit together all the emotion, intricate details, romance, documentary pictures and add a sprinkling of ‘fairy dust’ to make a powerful “story of the day”, so that in years to come when the album gets opened again and again the story unfolds to allow all the memories and emotions of the day come flooding back. So much more than “just” a collection of images … and that is our special craft. Today’s wedding will be no exception, and Betina and Duncan have some very special moments to treasure.

Our thanks got to Pippa and her team for being the most fabulous hosts at Maunsel House.

Betina and Duncan, well what can we say, just a great day, enjoy your honeymoon and call us as soon as you get back!
