Llansantffraed Court Hotel - Lindsay and Debbie
Today took us up to the very picturesque Llansantffraed Court Hotel for Lindsay and Debbie’s wedding. We promised them fine weather and on our arrival the sun shone and began to peek through the clouds exactly as predicted, however there was the distinct possibility of the odd shower. Phew, our reputation as amateur weather forecasters was still intact.
We had had plenty of fun with Lindsay and Debbie before their big day on both their engagement shoot and pre-wedding venue visit and on our last walk around with them you could see that they had been practising … good on you both thats what we like to see…..dedication to your photography!!
Debbie wore a fantastic dress by Ian Stuart, beautiful flowers by Lovelily and had 7 bridesmaids in attendance who quickly became affectionately known as the Seven Dwarfs, sorry girls. (Not sure about Snow White though!)
Not to be outdone … Lindsay had 22 suits in his line up!!
After the ceremony we started to take some “atmospheric” shots of the guests and amazing grounds whilst everyone enjoyed their drinks and canapes accompanied by the lovely music of the Cambrian String Quartet. Later on we were all entertained by a wonderful jazz band playing, creating that feel of lazy, hazy summer days from an earlier era.
We were on our all day coverage and this meant that we were in no great rush to get everything finished so the party continued until the call for the wedding breakfast came. Chef, Steve’s food is always a special treat to look forward to! After the speeches and cake cutting it was out into the grounds for some stunning sunset fun with the cameras.
Then came an announcement of a special attraction … well, you would never have believed it … a surf machine all ready to rock and roll … up got Lindsay and Debbie and presented us with a photographers dream in fun images.
Fireworks and champagne topped off a very special day.
Thank you to Mike and his Staff for looking after us so well, and our thanks to Lindsay and Debbie for being such fun.

Bob,
The evening shots are spectacular, in fact they all are. I know you will get some great ones of us. Getting very excited now, seeing these photos is making it all real. Roll on two weeks and fingers crossed for nice weather.
