Llansantffraed Court Hotel - Laura and Haydn

And more rain … but an optimistic forecast for later. Fran was at Laura’s parent’s house for 9.30 and dropped Bob off at the Church to wait for Haydn and the boys. The vicar’s husband, John, was there to open up and place the garland above the doorway. (Apparently one of our photographs of confetti and the garland from Jo and Steve’s wedding in 2006 is legendary in these parts … we’re sending a copy to the church!) Haydn arrived in fine form shortly afterwards ….

We were permitted a few discrete photographs during the ceremony but Dawn from Venus Video was providing the major coverage of the ceremony in Widescreen, Hi-def video … nice lady and pleasant to work with. During the signing of the register we were treated to the beautiful and moving singing of Taylor, one of the bridesmaids … hardly a dry eye left in the place.

Due to the weather the main family “mantlepiece shots” were taken inside the church. (Thanks, Revd. Jackie!)

Off to Llansantffraed (in the rain) and the wedding breakfast. We were greeted on our arrival by a swinging 4 piece smooth jazz band that really got the feet tapping.

After the speeches the weather had cleared up sufficiently to take the bridal party out and have a bit of fun and then a 20 minute session with the bride and groom for their bridal portraits.

Laura and Haydn have rather a lot of stunning photos to sift through (we shot just under 1500 exposures on the day) … we’ll try and edit it down hard to between 500 and 600 for the final accompanied viewing.

Again we were treated royally and thank everyone for the wonderful hospitality we received.
