Glen-yr-Afon, Usk - Simon and Annette
Another great day to be wedding photographers … everything one could ask for, beautiful weather, a lovely venue and a fantastic couple. From the very first meeting with Annette and Simon we got on very well and we were very excited (and privileged!) to be part of their special day.
Our venue today was at the Glen yr Afon Hotel at Usk and we arrived to a bedroom full of girls and one male, hairdresser Chris (tough life, eh Chris?) !
Clare, Annette’s make-up artist was well through the preparations and Fran was there to capture Annette having the final magic touches.
Annette looked the very picture of happiness in her Maggie Sottero designer dress. The flowers today had very rich colours, perfectly matching the bridesmaids dresses – having got to know Annette quite well this was no accident!
Drinks and canapes were served after the ceremony and then we began capturing the family groups followed by a romantic stroll through the grounds with Annette and Simon and then back for their wedding breakfast.
Rob and I returned later on in the evening to cover the Casino and took the guys out again for a second portrait shoot to take full advantage of the soft evening sunlight.
It was a pleasure Annette and Simon to be with you today, have a super ‘honeybreak’ and we’ll get together very soon.
