Clearwell Castle - Mike and Alli

Over the many years of photographing weddings we have made some great friendships and todays wedding at Clearwell Castle was one of our friends. Ace make up artist, Alli, marrying long term partner Mike.

We recommend Alli to our brides who are looking for the best hair and make-up lady in the business, and so many of our brides sing her praises. Alli’s experience with famous celebrities in TV and Film makes you look stunning all day!

Clearwell Castle looking spendid in the late summer sunshine, although a little chilly … Mike arrived and Rob went to work while Fran was already having a ball in the bridal suite with all the girls.

After the formal part of the ceremony was over we shifted to the imposing outdoor staircase for the group shot with everyone and confetti throwing, then it was time to enjoy the party.

We were also personal guests of Alli and Mike so we were able to partake in champagne and canapes … which we would normally not do!!

Then we had some fun with Alli, Mike and the kids, and then off around the grounds for some romance … keeping a watchful eye on the clouds.

Alli had been very creative for her wedding day by making and designing her own dress and we did hear tales of her sewing into the wee small hours … her bouquet was made from pieces of jewellery that had special memories or had been donated by family and friends. Buttonholes were also made the same way and added a touch of glamour.

We thoroughly enjoyed the food, company and the craic.

Great day guys, we wouldn’t have missed it for the world.
