Clearwell Castle - Kieron and Clare

Today was a very special day: in more ways than one … most importantly Clare and Kieron were getting married at Clearwell Castle and secondly it’s Frans Birthday … but we’re not letting on how old!

Clearwell castle shone out like a gem in the frosty start to the morning and as guests and the wedding party arrived it hummed with activity. The beautiful crisp winter light was perfect for wedding photography.

Fran met up with the girls at the Gresham Suite with everyone in high spirits. Fun and laughter could be heard from all parts of the upper floor of the castle.

Clare and the girls sang Fran Happy Birthday with great gusto!! Thank you ladies it meant a lot.

Rob was also having fun with the boys as they all got together in front of the castle.

Front of house manager for the day was Suzanne and everything, as always, ran to a tight schedule and it was soon time to walk down the red carpet. Little Martha, the flower girl, was a star, almost 3 years old and made her entrance with great confidence to the ohhhs and ahhhs of the entire ceremony room.

After a lovely ceremony with registrars Janice and Judith everyone assembled for the group shot on the front stairs in the rather chilly afternoon sun. We had plenty of time to let Clare and Kieron relax before we went off with them for a romantic stroll in the grounds … ably helped by Ben the ‘reflector man’!!. Great job Ben.

Clare and Kieron entered for their wedding breakfast and the photographers left the building … only to come back a few hours later to cover the first dance as we do occasionally when asked!

A lovely end to a great day and our thanks go to the Castle staff for a fab job as always, Rob got off lightly on taking Fran out for her birthday, he reckoned that the day had been a fabulous party enough!!

Clare and Kieron have a great few days away and give us a call very soon.
