Clearwell Castle - Cerith and Ellie
Weekday weddings are very popular these days and today (Monday) we were invited to cover Cerith and Ellie’s celebrations at the amazing Clearwell Castle.
With massive family support and plenty of friends the castle rocked!
Rob and Fran arrived to photograph the last stages of their pre-ceremony preparations and captured all the details and laughter, with lots of fun with the bridesmaids and ushers too.
When Ellie walked into the ceremony room and glided down the red carpet, there was a lightening-storm of flashes going off, she must have thought she was at the Oscars and Cerith was there waiting for her as her leading man!
A wonderful vocalist sang in a smooth jazz/gospel style to the delighted crowd during Ellie’s entrance and throughout the signing of the register. Following a lively exit, the guests were taken outside for family shots and with the weather starting to look as if it could turn a tad wet in the far distance, we decided to take Cerith and Ellie out straight away and finish up with any groups on our return.
Cerith and Ellie just had the best time out with us, with plenty of humour coming from our press-ganged “reflector” helper, Robin (good job, mate).
Clearwell Castle is a top wedding venue and everything is done “just so”, the wedding breakfast was laid up ready as we entered into the dining room. We then switched to capturing couples and families as they exited the receiving line … this always makes a great “rogue’s gallery” at the back of the album.
The speeches were full of stories and revelations … some more shocking than others!
Known for our arty evening shots, we went in search of some more romantic shots in the dark just before their first dance!
